To increase security PS3 control pads should store a small amount of user information - mainly a username. Only if you use one of the seven possible pads that are synced with the system can you login with the username that is attached to them.
eg:
If your pad contains the user name "thekb" then you can only login to the PSN service as "thekb" using this control pad (or one of the oher 6 you may or may not have but have been synced at one point or another.)
This would increase security dramatically and would also cut down on piracy where friends share their games as unless the friends are actually friends and visit each other, then they will not be able to download their stuff from each other.

I have a great idea for Killzone 3. The spawn grenades in KZ2 did make the game a spawn kill or spawn rush fest, but having tactical spawn points make this worse as everyone knows where your going to spawn, all this does is make capturing the spawn points more important that most of the objectives, as having these will often mean you'll win.
So, how about a half-way house.
The Tactician and only the tactician can moved the spawn point, he is slow while moving it and the spawn point is still visible on the map, but this allows better use of these.
I guess the only requirement is that its set down on solid terrain, not snow or rock and if the tactician is killed the spawn point will return to its default position.

You should be able to save at any point not just in between chapters. Some missions are long and its annoying if you have to quit and thus start from the beginning again.
Often I would like to move a gmail attachment straight into my album on Google+/Picasa, it would be nice to have this feature.
Moreover maybe it could be setup so that if I send an email to myself with a plus at the end eg: joebloggs@gmail.com+
It could automatically make a post with the content, if its text put it on my stream or if there are attachments load them into my gallery or to YouTube?
I have a great idea for Colony Wars, remake it for this generation and make it coop. The orginal was so much fun and there are so few space shooters around at the moment!
I have a great idea for Gran Turismo 5. When a car needs its rigidity restored, oil changed or engine rebuilt it should mark the car as such so you know.
I have a great idea for Gran Turismo 5, improve the loading times by streaming the track as needed.
There is no reason why the entire track needs loading at the start of the race.
I have a great idea for LittleBigPlanet 2. LBP2 is an amazing resource for creating pretty much anything, however it would be handy if you have gameplay resets that could be:
- Top down game
- Isometric
- side scrolling
- vertical
This would then set a lot of the required settings to make it seem like this type of game. Setting top down for example would automatically change the camera view, switch gravity to the z axis instead of x and y and could allow you to easily build objects in a stacking mode.
The entire games industry should be subscription based, you pay a monthly fee that is based on how many games you wish to play.
If you don't have a subscription the games you download or receive won't play or if you wish you can pay a one-off fee.
This would reduce piracy, make it more cost effective for the consumer and give the games industry a regular income which could even be proportional to the games which are rented.
