To increase security PS3 control pads should store a small amount of user information - mainly a username. Only if you use one of the seven possible pads that are synced with the system can you login with the username that is attached to them.
eg:
If your pad contains the user name "thekb" then you can only login to the PSN service as "thekb" using this control pad (or one of the oher 6 you may or may not have but have been synced at one point or another.)
This would increase security dramatically and would also cut down on piracy where friends share their games as unless the friends are actually friends and visit each other, then they will not be able to download their stuff from each other.

For the down time of the PSN I think Sony should give us film rentals for the same time the PSN is down, so 6 days so far!
The only compensation I want and the only way I will have faith again with Sony is if they fire all of their online security staff and hire people that know what they are doing.
Tonite while I was playing the campaign some more ( got frustrated) I had an idea for the marksman class. Since the A.I. snipers in the campaign have red lasers showing up on your screen why don't GG implement them some way in to MP. If nobody wants the gun different by shot count to kill or overpoweredness, then have the the lasers show up some how when the pu$$Y A$$ noob is camping in a corner getting a killstreak (WITHOUT DYING 3 TIMES) . When he gets a 3 streak going they will show up on the ally team so you know were he is. Don't troll guys its an idea maybe you'll like it.
I have a great idea for Killzone 3. The spawn grenades in KZ2 did make the game a spawn kill or spawn rush fest, but having tactical spawn points make this worse as everyone knows where your going to spawn, all this does is make capturing the spawn points more important that most of the objectives, as having these will often mean you'll win.
So, how about a half-way house.
The Tactician and only the tactician can moved the spawn point, he is slow while moving it and the spawn point is still visible on the map, but this allows better use of these.
I guess the only requirement is that its set down on solid terrain, not snow or rock and if the tactician is killed the spawn point will return to its default position.
